The Problem

Bronwen Murphy is a trained and certified life coach, she works by day as a television production floor manager on some of the biggest shows on television such as Big Brother UK.

Bronwen believes in true love and adores the old school british rock and roll asthetic. However, Bronwen believes that the world we live in has become too technology dependant when it comes to searching for “the one”.

After laying out what resources she had available and the problem she wanted to solve, helping people find love, Bronwen came up with the great idea of hosting her own face to face dating event called Show Love.

The Solution

To help kickstart the event, the following were put together as a specification of work –

  • Brand logo
  • Website –
    • Showcase event information and previous events
    • Blog to post life tips related to life coaching
    • Love stories page to post friends and families successes with love and spread a positive message

Upon the initial digest of the breif, it was obvious to NoFace that Bronwen was aiming to achieve a happy and positive message, without coming off as “cheesy”.

Fortunately due to Bronwen’s taste in old school british rock, we felt we could fuse the 2 concepts together to make a fresh approach to an old concept.

Before any logos were sketched, a quick mindmap was produced so that all possible routes became open to the team.

Show Love isn't your standard dating event, and therefore required a unique look and feel to accompany the product. Show loves branding focuses on using bright and playful neon colours, accompanied by 60's rock and roll themed imagery, illustrations and typography.

Colour Palette

Upon studying the rich heritage the UK held for rock and roll in the 60's, the main inspiration for the typography was drawn from cafe diners and their neon light signs.Beon Medium was used in the logo design to replicate that same old school rock and roll vibe.

Show love focuses on unlocking the power of love and encourages people across the country to meet face to face to engage with one another and reignite the passion that has been forgotten. The message is shown on the website, icons centre around love, secrets, unlocking and conversations were cherry-picked to help visualise the brands' message.

The show-love website is hosted on a fast shared hosting server, with secure HTTPS:// protocols enabled for security and SEO. The website is made up of 3 areas, find love (events), spread love (love stories) and self-love (life coaching).
